hese practical events will cover the key factors involved in getting the most from your maize / grassland crops whilst minimising environmental issues such as compaction, soil erosion and runoff.  Presentations inside will be followed by practical a demonstration outside so bring wellies & a coat.

• Crop nutrient planning for grass & maize including the RB209 update – what to apply & when
• The importance of good soil structure & management to optimise grass / maize yields
• Methods to remediate poor soil structure in grassland & arable land – what to do, when & how
